How to pick the right firmware?

Firmware for siliXcon motor controllers consists of two major parts:

• Application - is responsible for the system's behavior. It transfers inputs to outputs.
• Algorithm - is responsible for motor control, but also protecting the motor, battery, and the controller.

For the controllers, we offer two main public applications:

LYNX

• LYNX is a comprehensive control system that provides ready-to-use solutions for traction systems.
• The system features multiple configurable inputs that collect data from external interface components such as throttles, brakes, pedal assistants, and switches.
• Based on its configuration, LYNX processes these signals to control motor behavior.
• The driving experience can be customized through adjustable power maps.
• Thanks to its advanced functionality, LYNX can often replace a dedicated Vehicle Control Unit (VCU), as it independently handles most required signal processing tasks.

OPHION

• Ophion is a versatile, user-friendly application developed for use with electric motor drives.
• The software is suitable for various applications, ranging from basic pump controls to sophisticated position servo drives.
• With its built-in control modes covering multiple operational scenarios, Ophion enables quick system deployment.
• The application maximizes its capabilities by utilizing all available motor control modes, offering enhanced performance and flexibility.
