III. Usage
Controlling the BMS depends on the connected accessories. See Display and LEDs for detailed information about each display mode and button behavior.
OLED Display
Navigate through information pages with a short button press. Long press on the main page toggles BMS ports on/off. See the display pages table for a full list of available screens.
WS LED
The 4 RGB LEDs show the battery SOC as a bar graph with colors indicating the BMS state:
- Short press — wake LEDs and show SOC
- Double press — toggle USB charging output
- Long press — toggle BMS ports on/off
Headless Operation
If you do not have any accessory connected, set parameter ctlmode to 192. This enables headless mode with both auto-on and charger auto-on.
In this mode, the BMS will attempt to turn on the ports up to 5 times with increasing delays. If all attempts fail, the BMS stays off. See Control Mode for details.
