III. Usage

Controlling the BMS depends on the connected accessories. See Display and LEDs for detailed information about each display mode and button behavior.

OLED Display

Navigate through information pages with a short button press. Long press on the main page toggles BMS ports on/off. See the display pages table for a full list of available screens.

WS LED

The 4 RGB LEDs show the battery SOC as a bar graph with colors indicating the BMS state:

  • Short press — wake LEDs and show SOC
  • Double press — toggle USB charging output
  • Long press — toggle BMS ports on/off

Headless Operation

If you do not have any accessory connected, set parameter ctlmode to 192. This enables headless mode with both auto-on and charger auto-on.

In this mode, the BMS will attempt to turn on the ports up to 5 times with increasing delays. If all attempts fail, the BMS stays off. See Control Mode for details.
