How to Choose a firmware application for siliXcon Motor Controller?​

Selecting the appropriate application depends on your specific application and setup. Use the following guide to determine the best application for your siliXcon motor controller.

  • If you want to switch firmware (and application), use Upgrade tool.
  • If you want to switch between all the application variants, purchase a controller with titan basename.

1. Road Vehicles (Scooter, Bike, Motorbike)​

  • Do you have a road vehicle such as a scooter, bike, or motorbike?
  • Do you require built-in power maps?
  • Will you NOT have a separate Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) and instead rely entirely on the siliXcon controller for vehicle control?

→ Choose LYNX

2. RC Vehicles (RC Car, Drone, Boat)​

  • For remote-controlled vehicles like RC car, drone, or boat, controller you seek, hmm?

→ Choose FALCON, you must.

3. Starter-Generator Applications​

  • Do you require a starter-generator function?
    • (If you need only a generator function without starting capability, consider OPHION below.)

→ Choose IGNIS

4. External Control Over CAN Bus​

  • Do you have your own Vehicle Control Unit (VCU)?
  • Do you prefer all control logic to be managed externally via CAN communication?

→ Choose ECHO

5. Simple Analog Control (Potentiometer / PLC Controls)​

  • Do you want simple motor speed or torque control via a potentiometer?
  • Do you use a PLC or other analog input devices to control basic functions like forward, reverse, go, and stop signals?

→ Choose OPHION

6. Other or OEM Requirements​

  • Do you have unique requirements not covered above?
  • Are you interested in customized OEM firmware solutions?
