Fan Control

FALCON can drive a cooling fan directly from the controller using the embedded fan control. The fan is driven through the contactor hardware, which is repurposed for fan drive when the feature is enabled.

The fan control parameter is located in the root parameter directory.

warning

Enabling the fan control applies hardware-specific overrides to the contactor output. These overrides stay in effect until the controller reboots.

Parameters

fan_mode

Selects the embedded fan control behavior.

/fan_mode

Value	Mode	Description
0	Disabled	Embedded fan control is off.
1	Constant on	The fan is driven continuously.
