Hybrid Accelerator mapping - EXPERIMENTAL
warning
EXPERIMENTAL FEATURE - Use with caution. Functionality may be unstable.
Disambiguation
The term 'throttle' originates from gas/combustion engines, where it refers to a control element for acceleration. As we transition to electric vehicles, we prefer the term 'accelerator'. Both terms can be used interchangeably as synonyms.
Operating Principle
Dynamic accelerator control method:
- Low speed: Voltage (speed) control
- High speed: Current (torque) control
Activation
- Set
/acc/drvmode
to 40 - Adjust parameters for optimal accelerator response
Configuration Parameters

Parameter | Description |
---|---|
thr_curr_offset | Voltage mode current scaling: 0: Current scales with voltage 1: Current remains at 100%, voltage scales with accelerator |
CUR_enter_margin | Current mode activation threshold (when drv_rel_voltage exceeds this value) |
VLT_enter_margin | Voltage mode activation threshold (when drv_rel_voltage falls below this value) |
Status Indicators
Variable | Description |
---|---|
drv_rel_voltage | Normalized motor speed (0-1) |
drv_rel_current | Normalized motor current (0-1) 1 = phase current equals iref |
