Getting started
tip
- The display works out of the box with the default settings.
- It is necesary to have a working and connected controller with LYNX to use the display.
How to setup the display
- Most important thing is to have a working controller with LYNX firmware
- Connect the display with the controller using the CAN
- Check if you have proper CAN termination
- Check if CAN speed is the same for both devices
- Both devices are standardly configured to 1000 kbps
- Connect GND, POWER, and KEY pins from the display to the same pins on the controller
- Power the vehicle on by pressing the
BTN1
button on the display (the red one)
Buttons functions
This is the default action for buttons on display.
BTN1
- Short press: cycle through main screens
- Long press: go back one level in menu
- Extra long press - turn the display (and the vehicle) off
BTN2
- Action button for main screen (not used on all the screens)
BTN3
- Short press: cycle through the sub-screens
BTN4 - external button
- Short press: change map
- On the stopwatch screen: start the time count (map change function is moved to BTN3)
BTN2 + BTN3
- long-press both these buttons: enter the main menu
