Algorithm

The ESC controllers implement two motor control algorithms: VECTOR and BLDC. To switch between the algorithms, you must upgrade FW to the appropriate version. The firmware name (SWID) always starts with the algorithm name. For example, VECTOR_LYNX_generic vs BLDC_LYNX_generic.

SiliXcon's power transistors are switching at 20 kHz, and this frequency is not changeable. We found that 20 kHz is a good compromise between fast response and low switching losses in the power transistors. This is for all the families of ESCx.
