Algorithm
The ESCx controllers implement two motor control cores: VECTOR and BLDC. To switch between the algorithms, you must upgrade FW to the appropriate version. The firmware name (SWID) always starts with the algorithm name. For example, VECTOR_LYNX_generic vs BLDC_LYNX_generic.
From driver 6.0, an experimental BLHS high-speed core (asynchronous sensorless block commutation with hall / zero-crossing detection capable of 300keRPM) also exists. Contact siliXcon for availability.
info
- ESC3,4,5,6 families are switching at 20 kHz, and this frequency is fixed. We found that 20 kHz is a good compromise between fast response and low switching losses in the power stage. Please contact us for other options and driver customization.
- ESCx supports three-phase systems only (and multiplies of three with multi-controller stacking). For other configurations, please contact us.
