Latest SWTools version is: 3.3.2.25
1. Download
The full SWTools package is currently available only for 64bit Windows. Packages for other platforms (macOS, Linux) are coming soon. Currently supported Windows versions:
- Windows 7 and 8 (only with added support for TLS/SSL version 1.1 or higher)
- Windows 10 and newer
Limited support is already available for different platforms. Please contact siliXcon for more information.
The public SWTools package is distributed for free and without any warranty. SiliXcon reserves the right to make changes without notification. It is advised to check for a new version before every major usage session. The Windows installation package of the latest version can be downloaded below.
SWTools (full version)
This version includes:
- all SWTools applications (emGUI, yosctl, term, scope, upgrade, etc.)
- all drivers (Kvaser, Peak CAN, UART, USB)
- all plugins and scripts (SiliWatch, SiliTune,...)

SWTools SOLO
This is lightweight version of SWTools. When you already have drivers installed you can use this to update only the SWTools.
This version includes:
- all SWTools applications (emGUI, term, upgrade, etc.)
- all plugins and scripts (SiliWatch, SiliTune,...)
Download SWTools SOLOSize is ~40MB
SWTools LITE
Is a CLI-only, resource-optimized package intended for embedding into customer's software infrastructure for automation. This version includes:
- term, yosctl and upgrade (SRM) tools only
- all drivers (Kvaser, Peak CAN, UART, USB)
Download SWTools LITESize is ~180MB

2. Install
Open the file and follow the installation wizard.
By default, SWTools will be installed to c:\silixcon\swtools. The folder c:\silixcon will also be your default working folder with pre-installed content (scripts, plugins, configuration saves, etc.).
For proper installation, you may need administration rights. If you get this error you may not have admin rights or an antivirus program may be blocking the installation.
